Advertising

Since we are just getting started with this site, advertising payment can only be made via PayPal.

Select a banner placement type below and once you receive your receipt, e-mail us with your PayPal Transaction ID, banner image, and URL. If you have your own tracking code, please include it with the e-mail.

All banners for an issue are active for the entire life cycle of the issue.

Banner Guidelines

  • Advertising Banners must be 728px × 90px
  • Sponsor Banners must be 210px × 100px
  • Banner images must be in JPEG format, no animations or flash banners

Advertising Guidelines

Crochet Uncut will accept advertising from crochet and fiber related products. This can include, but is not limited to, pattern sites, supplies, magazines, tools, and handcrafted items. Crochet Uncut reserves the right to refuse any banner prior to release of the issue. Crochet Uncut reserves the right to select which content page a banner is displayed on.

All payments must be made by the 25th of the month before the next issue. For example, payment for the October 2008 issue must be received by September 25th.

Main Page Advertising

Only one banner slot is open for the main page of the site. Cost is $250 and banner is active for four months during the release of the selected issue. Since this is a first come, first served slot, e-mail us with your request, and a PayPal invoice will be generated and sent to you.
  • Winter 2008 (Nov) - Open
  • Spring 2009 (Feb) - Open
  • Summer 2009 (June) - Open
  • Fall 2009 (Sept) - Open
  • Winter 2009 (Nov) - Open

Site Sponsorship

Site sponsorship is available for a period of six months and cost is based on page placement.
  • Gold Sponsor - $200 - banner is displayed at the top of the sponsor page, in alphabetical order.

  • Silver Sponsor - $150 - banner is displayed under the Gold section, in alphabetical order.

  • Bronze Sponsor - $75 - banner is displayed under the Silver section, in alphabetical order.

Per Issue Advertising

There are several slots available for banners in each issue. For content pages, this depends on how many articles and patterns are available in the issue.
  • Main Page of Issue - $60 - banner is displayed prominently at the top of the main page of the issue. Since this is a first come, first served slot, e-mail us with your request, and a PayPal invoice will be generated and sent to you.
    • Winter 2008 (Nov) - Open
    • Spring 2009 (Feb) - Open
    • Summer 2009 (June) - Open
    • Fall 2009 (Sept) - Open
    • Winter 2009 (Nov) - Open
  • Content Page - $25 - banner is displayed prominently at the top of one content page, either an article or a pattern.

  • Issue Sponsor - $15 - banner is displayed in alphabetical order on the sponsor page for the issue.

Events

  • Free event, contest, etc. - No charge - send text and 210px x 100px image, if desired, to crochetuncut at gmail.com. Include dates of event.
  • Events requiring payment - $10 - once PayPal receipt is received, send Transaction ID, text, and 210px x 100px image, if desired, to crochetuncut at gmail.com. Include dates of event, cost, and contact info.
